University and Cancel Culture

The cancel culture is what makes Trump president. His refuse to censor himself seduce a large share of the electorate . The cancel culture is a way for extremists to avoid the debate .

The far left use it very well , often just a small group of very vocal people in university . They success to forbid most of the intellectual with whom they aren’t agreed to give conference at the univeristy .

The far right is adept of cosplay like we saw on January 6. They are also on the cancel culture , their favorite argument is the traditional fake news.

That cancel culture polarize even more the debate , and block all conversations. Why would you want to hear what someone else said. If you already make your own opinion and think that he just tells bullshit.

In university you train your critical mind but if you only hear what you like you will never develop that capacity.

So in university if we protect too much student we will create weak adults unable to face the cruelty of our world.
